our background

Alternate Communications International LTD is a Canadian based telecommunications contracting and consulting corporation, with our head office located in High River, Alberta, Canada.  Alternate was incorporated in January 1996.  Our core business practices include installation, commissioning and integration of telecommunications equipment primarily in the Western hemisphere:  the United States, Canada, Caribbean, and South and Central America.

In 2008 Alternate Recruiting Services Ltd was created, a Texas based company owned by Alternate Communications.  This US based division allows us to better serve our US markets and to provide benefits to our US resident employees.

Alternate has an established Quality Management System that is registered to ISO 9001 and TL 9000. Our TL 9000 required metrics show that we are consistently above industry average for our product category 7.8.2 Temporary/Contract Staffing. Our proven procedures and processes ensure that the best possible resource is supplied to our customer. We are able to develop and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and good working relationships with our personnel through regular communication from our account managers.
